I’ve just looked at my photo library of cars done and it’s listed under ‘BMW 5 Series 060916 and 091018’.

Ye’, U.S. vehicle regs are insane from import restrictions, lighting regs such as front and rear corner reflectors, dual use rear lights (using rear ‘sidelights’ also as indicators), headlights, etc... but hey, it’ll be legal once it’s safe and 25 years old.
